We were contracted by a local developer to study a largely undeveloped block near the University of Minnesota Campus, and to best layout the site with multiple programmatic elements. The objective was to create a new retail hub for the campus that supported ample commercial space, a residential tower, administrative office space, a hotel, and an office tower. Four schemes were developed to show the best arrangements of these spaces and tie the site in with a nearby transit station, pedestrian street, and football stadium.
